This weekend the collected edition of Only Skin comes out. I've been working on this book for just about five years, so it kind of feels like I am sending a kid off to college. Or kindergarten, at least. I'm happy with how it came out.
The book will be at the Secret Acres table at MoCCA Art Fest. Then the following weekend at TCAF. I'll also be at MECAF and CAKE and SPX later in the year, and maybe another show or two, if I can swing it. You can order the book directly from Secret Acres, or from Amazon, or ask your comic book store to order it and buy it from them. But you know all that. I'm just happy to be able to say it's out finally.
The book is the same size as the issues, actually slightly bigger at 8.5" x 11". There are over 40 completely new pages and probably another 60 pages that were re-drawn for the collection. There are some pretty major edits and changes, but I think the story is stronger. It wasn't my intention to change it so much, but I think that's just the nature of how the book developed. I thought the corrections and new pages would take me two months and it took me about eight months. Anyway. It's done and it's coming out this weekend.

Oh, oh, also, there is a book release party at Bergen Street Comics on Saturday April 28th at 8pm. It's cheaper than MoCCA and will probably have more alcohol and music. Here's the poster for that.
Okay, after all this I am really starting a new comic. I have a few projects cooking that I will probably talk about more in a few months. I'm excited about them though.
