Hello. This weekend will be a very exciting MoCCA Art Festival for the Sundays crew. We have at least four awesome books debuting at our table.
Firstly, (because this is still my blog, darn it,) Only Skin 7 will be debuting. This is the end of the first big storyline - a story that's taken me a little over four years to complete. I'm excited for the ending to be out there and I'm excited to continue Only Skin as a sort of umbrella title with different stories and possibly stories featuring familiar characters. Secondly, we have Sundays 4 debuting. This is a truly exciting edition of Sundays - edited by Chuck Forsman this time out. He did a wonderful job. The guest list is incredible, the design is incredible and the production is incredible. Read more here. This is seriously the most impressive volume of Sundays I have seen yet.
Also debuting at Kids, an excellent looking anthology edited by José-Luis Olivares and Melissa Mendes who will also be at our table. This book has a great cover by Max De Radigués.
And just next door, at Secret Acres, will be the debut of Joe Lambert's much-anticipated I Will Bite You. This book is incredibly beautiful and contains stories equal turns funny, sad, weird and... again... beautiful. This is a must buy.
Do you see what I mean about this being the best MoCCA ever, potentially, for the Sundays crew? I also know that Alex Kim has a new mini coming out, but he's keeping it under tight wraps for now. You'll have to trust me that it's worth it.
